This incredibly rare and highly sought after design "Les Mythologies Des Hommes Rouges" was originally released in 1994 and re-released over the years due to its popularity. Handcrafted in France to the highest luxury standards, Hermès scarves are true wearable pieces of art that take 18 months to create from start to finish with over 750 artisan hours into each scarf design. The scarf design and color-way was made by one of Hermès most prolific designers, Kermit Oliver. Oliver, who once was a postal worker in rural Waco, Texas has become of the most collected artists and is the only American designer to ever design for Hermès. This particular scarf is a 1999 re-issue and comes in a beautiful green and teal color-way that depicts scenes from indigenous and native American Cultures.
