Gianni Versace Vintage Medusa Gold & Leather Shoulder Crossbody Bag, F/W 1992. Established in 1978, Gianni Versace became well known world wide for his use of bold colors and bright prints inspired and designed around ancient Greek mythology. This vintage leather crossbody bag debuted on the Fall Winter 1992/1993 bondage collection and was inspired by the Greek God Medusa and is seen on the exterior of the bag in a gold plated medallion design surrounded by a Greek key accent to center and corners. Further adding a Greek influence, the hand braided fabric link 22" drop strap allows the bag to be worn as a shoulder or cross body bag. Interior of bag opens to plenty of internal storage for all of your day to night necessities with one internal slip pocket. In good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear that is concentrated to the creasing of sides and some light marking to rear. Comes with original dust bag.
