"Alternateur", or french for alternator or the electric generator that produces electrical current, was designed by Pierre Péron and was originally designed in 1971. The design itself depicts the 270-ton machine alternator from the MId-Century Modern era in a kaleidoscopic design with vibrant intertwining colors of turquoise and blue. This particular scarf is a re-issue from 2022 and is the first scarf by Hermès that is printed on both sides. Rare blue color way in excellent condition with hand rolled edges.
