Hermès Twill Silk Scarf "Springs" by Philippe Ledoux
Hermès Twill Silk Scarf "Springs" by Philippe Ledoux, dated 1998. "Springs", was designed by Phillippe Ledoux, one of the most iconic Hermès designers, and was originally issued in 1974. The design of the "Springs" or "New Springs" scarf was inspired by the children's carriage commissioned by Carolina Bonaparte for the birth of her son to Napoleon. The coach pictured in the center of the design was built by the famous carriage builder, John F. Tremblay and can be seen on display in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. This scarf is in excellent condition with plump hand rolled edges and is in a beautiful light pink and white color-way. Specifications and condition listed below:
