Hermès Extremely Rare "Hourvari" Cashmere Silk 90 cm Scarf by Henri d’Origny, 1972. "Hourvari" in french translates to the sound of the signal or horn used to call back the dogs from their hunt. In addition, the word can also be attributed to the word "commotion" as seen in the scenes depicting running dogs with their wild game and other busy hunting motifs. This extremely rare and highly sought after design was made by iconic Hermès artistic director, Henri d’Origny who has been behind some of the brands most recognizable designs such as Eperon d'Or and L'Instruction du Roy. Originally issued in 1972, the design of the "Hourvari" comes in an extremely rare color-way of tan background with multi colored motifs.
