Marks to reverse: impressed 'WEDGWOOD' with date cypher for October 1878, with painted pattern number 'M2164' which corresponds to 'Salmon Platter, 25 in.' in the Wedgwood Majolica Pattern Numbers Books from the Wedgwood Archive.
