Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Limited Edition World Tour Pochette Félicie, 2018. This iconic pochette is a piece of Louis Vuitton history that was first introduced in the the early 1900's as an accessory pouch to accompany larger bags. As the early 20th century progressed, so did women's needs for a more modern day accessory that would easily transition from day to night. From this concept, the Louis Vuitton "pochette" was born and has transitioned in style, color variants and function over the years. This particular pochette is an extension of the original "World Tour" or "My LV" collection released under creative director Nicholas Ghesquiere in 2016 and comes in the damier ebene pattern with various "patches" throughout the exterior. Interior of bag opens to a roomy canvas lined red interior with a single interior slip pocket and removable card insert with eight place holders. Pochette is adorned with gold plated brass hardware snap closure and removable chain allowing for the bag to be worn as a crossbody bag, clutch or even as a larger wallet. Heat stamp "Louis Vuitton Paris - made in France" located to outside of interior slip pocket with "MI3148" date code for France, 2018. In excellent condition with extremely limited signs of use that have only occurred due to storage.
