The iconic speedy was first introduced in the 1930's and was designed as an alternative for the larger "Keepall" bag per Audrey Hepburns request. Louis Vuittons newest edition was originally referred to as the "express bag" measuring at what would later become the most popular size at "30cm" long.
This specific speedy was introduced during the Spring/Summer "Nautical" collection in 2023 and was issued in extremely limited quantities. Handcrafted and produced in France from premium damier azure patterned canvas leather with a nautical inspired overall motif, this bag is rare and a highly sought after addition to any collection. Bag opens with a double zip closure to Louis Vuitton monogram nautical chain link inspired interior with one zipped pocket and plenty of room to house your day to night essentials. Exterior is hand-painted with a chain and rope link design in the classic pink rose ballerine, white, gray and lilac with "LV" logo stamped throughout and adorned with gold brushed hardware.
