Hermès Limited Edition Silky City Tiger Royal Barenia Leather Shoulder Bag, 2008. This extremely rare and highly sought after limited edition "Silk City Tiger Bag" was handcrafted in France from premium silk fabric and barneia leather that has been hand dyed in a variety of oils over a six week period during the production year of 2008. Barenia leather was originally used only in Hermès equestrian line and was later introduced for handbags during the later 1970's and is used very rarely in bag creation today. Overall handwoven silk twill design features a resting tiger with a striped fern pattern and crown in the natural and original coloration of the scarf design. Adorned with "Hermés Paris" and "Made in France" embossment and blind stamped with a "L" in square, indicating the year made (2008) with additional craftsman lettering to inside of adjustable strap. Interior opens by weighted toggle tag and houses plenty of room for all of your day to night necessities. Comes with certificate of authenticity and box.
