Large Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Medallion Platter, Canton, ca. 1820, with refined decoration, the center well depicting a garden with two pheasants among peony and exotic floral sprays on blue rockwork, with yellow glazed wampee fruit centered on green glazed grass (highly unusual), with butterflies and birds, banded with a stylized scalloped border, with tightly enameled flowers on the heavily gilded ground, the lip with similar decoration and six spaced medallions, each with two magpies among floral and rice sprays.
