Chinese Export Porcelain Canton Famille Rose Plate, ca. 1820. The round plate with a central design depicting a pavilion Imperial Court scene with seated Emperor and five attendants, with hyper-vivid enamels and fine gilt accents, with multi-layered raised enamels forming the pleats and textures of the garments, with blue Taihu stones to the foreground, the elaborate border with butterflies, floral spays and blossoms on a gilded ground.
