Hand carved walnut center table, Italian, circa 1880, profusely hand carved, the shaped top carved with a central motif of a sunflower, with sunflower edging, above a classically carved apron, the posts carved with stylized acanthus leaves, the lyre-form panels carved with mythological figures, the X-form stretchers surmounted with a solid walnut carved putto head, on stylized carved feet. In excellent antique condition, with a beautiful color and glowing patina. Measurements: D 24" x W 35.5" x H 31.25" inches.
