Burl walnut and Marquetry inlaid Canterbury or sheet music stand, English, circa 1880, the highly figured walnut top finely inlaid with ebony and exotic woods forming a central loving cup with stylized floral vines issuing forth, with satinwood stringing and a solid brass etched gallery, supported by turned posts, with matching inlay and stringing to the molded mid-section, with three sheet music slots surrounded on all sides with stylized fretwork, on a molded base with a single hidden frieze drawer, on original castors.
