18th century Louis XV carved cherry commode, French, circa 1750, the rectangular top with molded edge and shaped conforming slight serpentine front edge, three shaped and lipped long drawers, relief carved paneled stiles, molded and paneled sides, shaped drop skirts with molded bottom edge, cabriole legs with whorl foot, with pine secondary woods. Beautiful rich patina and color, with original bronze mid-18th century hardware, the bail-handled pulls and escutcheons with starburst decoration.
Measures: 39" H x 48.5" L x 23" D in.
Condition: Staining and wear to top; top reset; backboards later; replaced drawer guides; drawer runners rebuilt; other small cuts and repairs to drawers and drawer lips.
