A Minton Majolica Foxglove Jardiniere and Stand, molded with naturalistic trompe l'oeil foxgloves, ferns, and morning glories on a rustic ground, with a shaped oval rim and foliate-scroll handles, the reverse glazed in pink with impressed marks: 'MINTON,' date cypher for 1868, and design number '1056' which corresponds to the entry 'GARDEN POT AND STAND, FERN AND FOXGLOVE (M)' as recorded in the Minton Archive and reprinted in Jones.
