$1,285.00

George Jones Majolica Trompe L'oeil Rare Tile, naturalistically molded in high relief with a large green-glazed lily pad and waterlilies, on a cobalt blue ground, the reverse with painted design number '3393,' ca. 1880, 8.25-ins.

Dawes illustrates five tile designs by the firm "from the small range of majolica tiles...produced at the Trent potteries of George Jones & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent, circa 1880.
