Wedgwood Majolica scalloped oval bread tray, molded as a shallow looped wicker basket, the center glazed in cobalt blue and bordered in yellow-glazed wheat with green, lavender, and white grape leaves and tendrils to either side, surmounted with naturalistically molded and glazed grape vine handles, the reverse with impressed marks, 'WEDGWOOD,' and Wedgwood three-letter date code, the third letter 'Y' for 1870. For thirty years, we have been among the preeminent specialists in fine antique majolica.
