Extremely Rare Gucci Vintage 1980's Leather Sylvie Web Leather Lock Extra Large Suitcase. As seen in the 1969 James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", this classic "Sylvie" design is handcrafted from smooth calfskin leather with iconic red and green striped web design to front of bag with brass hardware and adjustable closure on brass peg feet. Leather handle affixed to suitcase with hand tooled "GG" design to closure and Gucci "Made in Italy" heat stamp to interior underside of tag baring the serial number of "0100990005", one of Gucci's signature style suitcases. Suitcase opens to a spacious interior with monogrammed "GG" lining throughout with two adjustable leather closure straps. Overall in good vintage condition with signs of use concentrated to the lining fabric interior where discoloration marks are present. Faint wear to hardware. Comes with Gucci dust bag.
