Louis Vuitton Raffia Giant Monogram OnTheGo MM Navy Shoulder Tote Bag, 2021. The "OnTheGo" bag was introduced in 2019 by creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere and was originally inspired by the "Sac Plat" which was designed in 1968. The "OnTheGo" bag proved to be the most popular selection from the 2019 line and became a regular staple in production by the iconic Louis Vuitton fashion house available in a variety of patterns and colors. This specific "OnTheGo" tote was handcrafted in the United States during the Summer of 2021 from hand woven raffia which comes from the leaves of the raffia palm with contrasting hand dyed navy raffia in a giant LV flower medallion pattern. Interior of bag is roomy and spacious consisting of one large interior with two side slip pockets and on side zip pocket and ddorned with gold plated brass hardware. This piece is versatile and can be worn in a variety of ways including top handle and crossbody bag.
