Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Naviglio Messenger Crossbody Shoulder GM Bag, 2005. This versatile bag was first introduced in the 1970's by Vuitton as various sized bags were needed for travel, coining the name "messenger" and "weekender" bags. Hand crafted in France to the highest luxury standards, this Naviglio is made from the iconic "Damier" pattern in the Ebene coloration which was re-introduced into the Louis Vuitton line during the 1996 Fall/Winter season. This particular Naviglio is a later edition from April 2005 produced in France and has since been discontinued from the line, increasing its desirability. Interior opens by a double snap closure with two large exterior slip pockets and one large full zip interior compartment to house all of your daily essentials. Date code of "SR0045" indicating France, 2005 for production year located to interior vachetta slip pocket tab. In very good, gently used condition with signs consistent with age and use.
