This extremely rare and highly sought after vintage lizard bag is handcrafted from exotic and rare monitor lizard with an embossed metallic gold finish and lined with a glazed metallic calfskin interior. Iconic silver and gold "GG" interlocking push lock closure opens to a roomy interior with expandable push sides along with one interior slip pocket to house all of your day to night essentials. Gucci "Italy" gold plaque adorned to underside of flap and stamp to inside of slip pocket baring the date code of "0040560225", consistent with a production date between 1970 - 1980. Bag is in good vintage condition, with smalls signs of use that are consistent with age.
